Cookies
Our website uses cookies to improve your experience:
When you log in, we use cookies to save your login details and display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, while screen option cookies last for one year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for two weeks. Logging out removes these cookies.
If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies so you don’t need to re-enter them next time. These last for one year.
When you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles or pages on our site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves the same way as if you visited those websites directly.
These third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking tools, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content. This can include tracking your activity if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who do we share your data with
We only share your personal information when necessary to run our business and provide you with services. This may include:
- Service providers – such as payment processors, shipping carriers, and email platforms that help us complete your orders and communicate with you.
- Website platform – our site runs on WordPress and WooCommerce, which may collect or process limited information (such as IP addresses, cookies, and order details) to support site functionality.
- Legal requirements – if required by law, court order, or legal process.
- Security purposes – for spam detection, fraud prevention, or password reset requests (your IP address may be included in password reset emails).
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
How long do we retain your data?
Comments – If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This helps us automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them for moderation.
Customer accounts – If you create an account on our website, we store the personal information you provide in your profile. You can view, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except for your username). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.
Orders – We keep order records, including personal information provided at checkout, for as long as necessary to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
What rights do you have over your data?
If you have an account on our site, have placed an order, or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You may also request that we erase your personal data, except for information we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.
To make a request, please email leasparlor@gmail.com.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. In addition, certain data (such as payments or shipping information) may be securely processed by trusted third-party providers that help us operate our website and fulfill orders.
